Marketing resources for Further Education (FE) in UK
The Further Education Reputation Strategy Group (FERSG) has been established, as a sector-led group, to enhance the national reputation of Further Education.
FERSG has been involved in a number of activities to raise the profile of the Group and encourage the Further Education sector to join them to help enhance the national reputation of Further Education. The Group has established an overarching theme Ã¢â‚¬â€œ Ã¢â‚¬ËœFE WorksÃ¢â‚¬â„¢.
Links with other sector organisations including the Single Voice, Association of Learning Providers, Association of Colleges and the 157 Group mean that the Group has access to advocates, information and experts on a variety of matters relating to reputation.
The reputation of Further Edcuation is vital if the sector is to be properly recognised for its vital contribution to the delivery of world class provision The need to enhance the national reputation of FE was addressed in the Further Education: Raising Skills, Improving Life Chances- 2006 FE White Paper and World Class Skills: implementing the Leitch Review of Skills in England
